Async work
- Nathaniel
- libverto mostly working. KDC main loop in libverto. Patch to list for comments next week. Effect on preauth plugin architecture?
- Greg
- We have freedom to change the API for 1.10.
- Nathaniel
- Pass a callback to finish. Timeout? 1 second frequency? Client timeout behavior?
- Greg
- People working on SSSD should look at gic_step. Client should "stick" to a KDC. Probably ok for client time out explicitly configured on the client.
- Greg
- There's a tiny chance that your KDC went down between the preauth_required and the later requests.
- Nathaniel
- Client retransmits, requests outstanding?
- Greg
- Working on credential selection currently. Hope to have revision to preauth stuff soon.
- Tom
- Patches?
- Nathaniel
- not public yet. Will be on GitHub in next few days. Mailing list question on krbdev on glib: signals not all supported, e.g. not USR1, USR2. Needs a patch to glib.
- Tom
- Inclusion in glib release?
- Nathaniel
- Next release of glib. Earlier releases didn't support signals.
- Nathaniel
- Would love GCD code.
- Tom
- Hopefully will have time to do that soon.
- Greg
- Heimdal has some GCD code.
Documentation
- Zhanna
- Some manpages to be generated from Sphinx. Checked in some stuff... kinit, kdestroy, klist.
- Tom
- Do you need to build entire tree?
- Zhanna
- It visits everything, but only builds manpages.
- Tom
- Details? ... Output looks like it requires GNU extensions to nroff. Probably a showstopper for people who are using non-GNU OSes. Will ask lists.
